01 / THE IDEA

For the journeys in between.

An electric cargo bike for people and dogs — an idea in development.

Concept stage

No working prototype yet. No product certification. Nothing on sale.

Inspired by everyday life

Where would you go together?

These moments help shape the idea. Development will show which of them a future bike can support well.

01

The daily walk

Head to the park, a dog exercise area or a familiar trail. Arrive together, hop out and enjoy the walk on foot.

02

Short trips, together

Pick something up or make a quick stop at the shops. The idea is space for your dog and the things you need to bring along.

03

A little weekend time

A new walking route or a trip to a green space. PawsVelo is exploring the journeys that connect a day spent together.

02 / DESIGN QUESTIONS

A concept built around dogs and people.

Three questions will guide the next stages of development.Design questions, not tested product specifications.

A low entry

How can a dog get in and out comfortably? Entry height, the opening and helping a dog become familiar with the bike need to be considered together.

Three questions. One direction.

A considered space for your dog

We are exploring a well-ventilated pet cabin that is easy to clean. Space, materials and suitable restraints are all part of the design work.

Assistance and handling

How does a loaded bike feel when starting, steering and braking? Electric assistance and stability need to be evaluated with a working prototype.

Three questions. One direction.

03 / DEVELOPMENT

Understand first. Then put it to the test.

This is the planned sequence. Each next step depends on what the research, development and testing show.

Questions
  1. 01

    Current stage

Explore the concept and everyday needs

PawsVelo is in personal preparation by Andi Ji. The focus is on everyday situations, barriers to use and developing the concept.

  2. 02

    Planned

    Evaluate a working prototype

A working prototype should help assess entry, the pet area and handling in practice. No such prototype is being presented on this site yet.

  3. 03

    Next

    Prepare for testing and production

That work would be followed by the necessary tests, design changes and preparation for manufacturing, delivery and service.

  4. 04

    When the foundations are ready

    Consider a first production run

Only then can a decision be made about whether and how to offer a first batch. Quantities, prices and dates remain open.

Behind the idea

Experience to build on. Questions to begin with.

Andi Ji is preparing PawsVelo as a personal project. The planned expertise combines battery engineering from the energy-storage industry with ten years of digital marketing and European experience.

The team structure is still taking shape. This site does not present an established company, a finished product or completed product certifications.

An open beginning

What to know at this stage

01Can I buy or reserve a PawsVelo yet?

Not yet. This site introduces an idea in preparation. There are currently no orders, reservations or payments.

02Do the images show a real PawsVelo?

The product images are AI-generated concepts. They illustrate a possible design, rather than a built prototype or a finished product.

03Would PawsVelo suit my dog?

It is too early to give a reliable answer. A dog's size, weight, behaviour and space needs must be assessed alongside the safe use of the eventual bike.

04Where would PawsVelo launch first?

Germany is the focus of the planning. Whether and when an offer becomes available, and which areas it covers, will depend on development and the ability to provide delivery and service.
